Kate Farmone has been involved with coaching girl’s soccer since 2009. She has a degree in elementary education and she has been very big in the growth of Women’s Team Soccer. During her college career she played the game and was also on the women’s track team. She did suffer from a knee injury that ended her playing time, but she still is very passionate about sports. She feels that women should be more involved in them, which is why she loves to coach.

She currently teaches algebra but also dedicates her time on the field to those playing soccer. She wants to help them be able to enjoy the game as much as possible. She offers them guidance, information, and helps them to challenge themselves to improve as players. Farmone also feels that he role is to get the girls to appreciate their talents and to see just how good they really are.

She is hopeful her passion for soccer and other types of sports will be something she is able to pass along to the girls that she coaches. She feels that during her time playing sports, she had the opportunity to work with some of the best coaches out there. She learned about the game, life, and talent. She wants to be able to give that back to others so that they will be able to fully appreciate who they are and what they can offer.

For more than 40 years, Coach Dregger has offered his time and wisdom in an effort to coach men’s soccer. He is considered to be one of the most respected coaches that there has ever been in this sport. He is key to the talent that is on this team and keeping morale high.

Coach Dregger is also responsible for launching the women’s soccer team in 1989 at Newman University. He was the coach of this part of the game for 11 years until it was passed along. He continues to be a driving force behind getting women involved in soccer though. He feels that women have so much to offer in sports, but too often the focus ends up being on just the male population.

Part of what makes Coach Dregger so remarkable is that he played the game for more than 30 years as well. He was part of the Junior National Team and part of the Junior Olympic Team at one point in his life. He has been able to use those building blocks as a way to motivate other athletes. Many of them need encouragement and they need more self confidence before they are able to fully realize their talent on the soccer field.

Coach Dregger also makes vast contributions in his role as an educator. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, A Master’s Degree in Leadership, and a Doctorate in Organizational Management. He has been able to help many students complete a solid foundation in the area of business for their educational goals.
