NSCAA National Player of the Week

Former Junior Rhino David Cappuccio has been named  NSCAA's National Player of the Week for the week of October 18th He was named to the Soccer America's team of the week in September. As the goalkeeper for Colgate University, David was ranked #1 in Goals Against Average and Save Percentage in the NCAA D-1 Men's Soccer through 10-15-06. Cappuccio allowed his first goal of the 2006 season against Lehigh on October 21 in the 63rd minute and moved into 2nd place in the NCAA's all time record book, surpassing Tony Meola with his 898 scoreless minutes steak. Cappuccio was later named as the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year.
